Rutland County Council is inviting residents, businesses, stakeholders, and community groups to comment on the Local Plan Scoping Report and supporting documents. The Scoping Report forms an important early stage in the preparation of the Local Plan, setting out the key planning issues, opportunities, and challenges facing Rutland that will help shape future planning policies. The Call for Sites 2026 was previously open from 9am on Monday 1st June to 4pm on Friday 31st July. However,  this has been extended to reflect a flexible approach which will allow additional sites to be submitted, as work on the new Rutland Local Plan 2026-2046 continues.The following documents are now available for consultation:
