If the PLD line is to be moved, it should run along the end of all the gardens in a natural line.
As it is it goes along this line until 44 when it comes down our boundary with 44A and cuts through our garden to the Pickworth road
and leaves our out-buildings and road access outside of the new boundary line.
Surley the PLD line should be at the end of our garden as with all the other properties.

We object to no allocation of housing within the Larger Village of Great Casterton despite its sustainable location served by good public transport links, a primary and secondary school, vetinery surgery and other services. We would advocate extensions to PLD on the western edge of the village to allow for a well balanced spacial strategy of housing development across a range of Larger Villages over the Plan Period.

GtC3
Although I have no objection to the re-development by the Academy as an educational centre alone I do however, object to RCC promoting the idea that this sports/playing field in open countryside should be given over to a housing development which would be of absolutely no benefit to the residents of Great Casterton.
Surely the same criteria as the recently refused 2022/1476/FUL must also apply to this site.

Proposed PLD amendment GtC3 & 4; GCPC objects to the use of this land for housing development and refers RCC to many of the arguments raised in objection to the proposed development by Stancliffe homes at College Close. GCPC is fully supportive of the development of educational facilities on this land and welcomes the anticipated funding that will be forthcoming as part of the college's inclusion within the Governments School Rebuilding Programme. Also the area GtC2 label is missing from the Proposed PLD amendments map
