The proposed modifications to Policy MIN5 and its accompanying paragraphs, to include the allocation of Site M2, are supported as they will provide a justified, effective and deliverable mechanism to ensure that the required range of limestone products can be provided throughout the Plan period.
The modifications are of particular importance to secure the continued provision of building stone following the anticipated exhaustion of reserves at the existing Hooby Lane Quarry (documents submitted as part of application 2024/0872/FUL anticipate this to be 2031/32).
