The overall approach to meet the requirements set out in Building Regulations Part S aligns with paragraph 116 of the NPPF (2023) (which
requires developments to be designed to enable charging of vehicles in safe, accessible and convenient locations) is considered appropriate. However, it is considered that specific reference within the policy to compliance with Building Regulations is unnecessary and should be deleted to avoid duplication of policies, having regard to paragraph 16 of the NPPF (2023).
