This site provides insufficient information for me to make a fully informed decision; face-to-face presentations would have helped.

I am concerned that flooding is an issue for some homes in Lyddington, and any further development would increase this risk.

Please will you clarify why Lyddington is defined as a "larger village" we have no shops and a population of under 500.
SS2 - the change in the PLD should be omitted because of the effect this could have on our village.

The Spatial Strategy Background paper proposes a methodology where villages with a population of 300 or more and 150 houses or more could support a local shop or public house and are therefore defined as more sustainable locations.
With a few exceptions this approach results in combining the Local Service Centres and Smaller Service Centres in the Core Strategy into a single group, reflecting that the policy approach for the two categories in the Core Strategy is very similar.

I understand "PLDs" are to be removed from smaller villages; is this right? And please can you confirm that Lyddington (according to RCC) is a larger village, so not affected.

Lyddington is identified as a Larger Village and therefore a PLD has been identified for the village.
