Representation Summary:
Some older now disused mineral workings, such as the limestone workings have developed interesting biodiversity; many species found here, esp invertebrates, will need open habitats. Therefore there should not always be a presumption of covering oversold workings. Exposed substrate can be of conservable biodiversity and geodiversity value.
