PLD mist be maintained in the Village of Clipsham to restrict development.
The approach to removing PLDs from villages such as Clipsham will provide great protection from inappropriate development by removing the presumption in favour of development within the PLD

The proposed local plan allows for much more housing development than is needed over the next few years with very weak conditions to decline any future proposal. Therefore there is a need for tighter rules as to where development should be allowed and an obvious and easily monitored rule would be not to allow any development outside the PLD areas.
